Ali Aouad

Ali Aouad is a Sloan School Career Development Assistant Professor in the Department of Business (BUS) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His research interests lie at the intersection of operations, computer science, and economics, focusing on algorithms and decision processes with applications in supply and demand management, market design, and public operations. Prior to joining MIT, Aouad was an Associate Professor at the London Business School. He has also worked as an applied scientist at Uber Technology and provided strategic consulting at the Boston Consulting Group. Aouad is an associate editor for Operations Research and Management Science and holds a PhD in Operations Research from MIT, along with an MS and BS in Applied Mathematics from Ecole Polytechnique.
