Tracy Becker

Tracy Becker is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. She holds the Ed & Diane Wilson Presidential Chair in Structural Engineering and serves as Vice Chair for Research & Technical Support. Her research interests include structural dynamics and design, earthquake engineering, isolation and high-performance systems, and the use of novel materials in design. Becker's work focuses on enhancing the reliability of communities through the adoption of advanced structural systems.
