Francisco Armero

Francisco Armero is a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on broad theoretical and applied aspects of computational mechanics, with specific areas including computational failure mechanics, nonlinear dynamics, computational inelasticity, high-performance finite elements, arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) methods, coupled problems, and integration algorithms in fluid mechanics.
