Kai Adams is a Professional Faculty member in the Business School (BUS) at the University of California, Berkeley. Their research focuses on Persuasive Communication & Interpersonal Dynamics. Adams believes that the essence of leadership is clarity of purpose, emphasizing the importance of staying grounded and awake in leadership roles. Their expertise includes improvisation as pedagogy for leadership development, cross-functional leadership capabilities, adult developmental theory, mental fitness for leaders, and making meaning at work.
