Bob Zucker

Bob Zucker is a Professor of the Graduate School in the Division of Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on the dynamic regulation of synaptic transmission, particularly how the strength of synaptic communication changes in response to neural activity. He employs biophysical methods, including the use of light-sensitive compounds, fluorescent dyes, and computational modeling, to investigate mechanisms underlying synaptic plasticity.
