Daniel K. Nomura is a Professor of Molecular Therapeutics at the University of California, Berkeley, in the Department of BIO. His research group focuses on reimagining druggability using chemoproteomic platforms to develop transformative medicines. The Nomura Research Group addresses the challenge of undruggable proteins by advancing chemoproteomic approaches to discover novel ligandable hotspots and develop therapeutic leads. Their work includes expanding targeted protein degradation technologies and exploring new induced proximity-based therapeutic modalities. Nomura's research integrates chemoproteomic strategies with innovative chemical technologies to overcome challenges in drug discovery.
