Karsten Weis is a Professor in the Department of BIO at ETH Zurich. His research focuses on the Biology of the Nucleus, with an emphasis on subcellular compartmentalisation, nucleocytoplasmic transport, nuclear pore complex structure and assembly, and the regulation and function of biomolecular condensates in gene expression.
