Dimitri Stelio Wyss is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. He holds a chair in arithmetic geometry and teaches courses such as Algebra I, Quantum Cohomology, and Topology II. Wyss completed his PhD under the supervision of Tamas Hausel at EPFL and the Institute of Science and Technology Austria. From 2017 to 2019, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Sorbonne University Paris 6 with François Loeser. His research focuses on algebraic and arithmetic geometry, utilizing p-adic and motivic integration to explore the interplay between geometric and arithmetic aspects of cohomology in algebraic varieties. His work has found applications in moduli spaces related to mirror symmetry, the Langlands program, and enumerative geometry.
