Paul Dyson

Paul Dyson is a Full Professor at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the Department of CHEM. He joined the Institute of Chemical Sciences and Engineering at EPFL in 2002 and served as Chair of the Institute from 2008 to 2016. He was a member of the Council of the Division of Mathematics, Natural and Engineering Sciences at the Swiss National Science Foundation from 2016 to 2021. In 2021, he was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Basic Sciences at EPFL. His research interests include bioorganometallic chemistry, and he has received several awards, including the Werner Prize (2004), the Award for Outstanding Achievements in Bioorganometallic Chemistry (2010), and the Green Chemistry Award (2020).
