Regular biography
Marinella Mazzanti is an Adjunct Professor at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the Department of Chemistry (CHEM). Her research focuses on inorganic chemistry, particularly coordination chemistry and the chemistry of f-elements. She teaches courses such as 'Chemistry of f elements' and 'Inorganic Chemistry: Applications and spin-offs.' Mazzanti has been recognized with the CS F. Albert Cotton Award in Synthetic Inorganic Chemistry by the American Chemistry Society (ACS) in 2020. She has supervised numerous EPFL PhD students and is involved in various teaching and research activities at EPFL.
