Jérôme Waser

Jérôme Waser is a Full Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the Department of Chemistry (CHEM). His research focuses on catalysis and organic synthesis, with a particular emphasis on sustainable chemical processes. He is a co-director of the NCCR Catalysis and holds leadership roles in several EPFL committees. His teaching includes courses on advanced general chemistry, asymmetric catalysis, and sustainable chemical synthesis. He is also involved in the supervision of PhD students and contributes to the academic and research community through his work at the Laboratory of Catalysis and Organic Synthesis (LCSO).
