Jean-François Molinari is a Full Professor at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the Computational Solid Mechanics Laboratory. He holds appointments in the Civil Engineering institute and the Materials Science institute. Molinari's research spans computational solid mechanics, damage mechanics, and multiscale methods. He is involved in teaching at EPFL at the Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral levels, including courses on Continuum Mechanics, Fracture of Materials, and Numerical Modelling of Solids and Structures.
