Regular biography
Emmanuel Bühler is an associate professor at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), where he teaches courses on architecture, urbanism, and sustainable design. He is also a practicing architect and founder of the architectural firm Bauart, which has completed numerous projects in Switzerland and beyond. Bühler's work focuses on the intersection of architecture, urban planning, and sustainability, with an emphasis on creating livable, environmentally responsible spaces. He has received numerous awards for his architectural work, including the European Gustave Magnel Prize and the Swiss-academies award for transdisciplinary research.
