Dieter Dietz

Dieter Dietz is an Associate Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the ENAC faculty's IA and ALICE laboratory. He directs the ALICE laboratory and teaches architectural design courses, including the first-year architectural design course at EPFL. Dietz has collaborated with various architectural firms and institutions, including Herzog & de Meuron and Diane Lewis Architects. He has also been involved in numerous research and design projects, often in collaboration with EPFL and other European institutions. His professional work includes founding dieterdietz.org and later transitioning to Architecture Land Initiative, a cooperative based in Zurich and Lausanne.
