Andreas Schueler is an Adjunct Professor in the CE department at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. His research focuses on nanostructured materials for solar energy conversion, thin film technologies, and the optical and electronic properties of thin films. His work includes applications such as optical selective absorber coatings for solar collectors, antireflection coatings, colored solar collectors, and solar glass facades. Schueler has taught courses in building physics, building technology, and light as a project driver. He has been recognized with the PolySphère d’Or award for best teacher at EPFL in 2023.
