Regular biography
Anders Meibom is a Full Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering (ENAC). His research interests include environmental bio-geochemistry, sub-cellular stable isotope imaging, nanoSIMS, biomineralization by marine organisms, cell metabolism, isotope geochemistry, and cosmochemistry. He has held academic positions at the University of Southern Denmark, Stanford University, and the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris. Since 2012, he has been associated with EPFL, where he contributes to teaching and research in environmental engineering and related fields.
