Michel DuPage is an Assistant Professor of Immunology and Molecular Medicine at the University of California, Berkeley, in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology. His research focuses on understanding the mechanisms that enable beneficial immune responses against tumors while minimizing detrimental responses against healthy tissues. His laboratory investigates regulatory T cells (T regs) and their role in cancer and autoimmune diseases, with an emphasis on epigenetic modifications and their impact on T reg function. DuPage's work includes the development of genetically engineered mouse models to study immune responses to cancer and the identification of key regulatory circuits in T cells.
