Udayan Vaidya

Udayan Vaidya is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. He holds a B.S. from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. in Economics from Northwestern University. His research interests lie in the fields of microeconomic theory and industrial organization, with recent work focusing on privacy and robust mechanism design. Professor Vaidya currently teaches Managerial Economics and has also taught courses on game theory to undergraduate and Ph.D. students. Before joining Fuqua, he worked in the private sector quantifying and pricing investment instruments exposed to natural catastrophe risk.
