Pranab Majumder

Pranab Majumder is an Associate Professor of the Practice in the Department of Business (BUS) at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. His research focuses on Operations Management, Service Management, and Industrial Organization. He serves as Faculty Co-Director of the Fuqua Client Consulting Program, where he coordinates client project sourcing, student team development, classroom content delivery, and project management for approximately 30 projects involving around 150 students globally. He teaches electives in Operations, including Operations Strategy, Supply Chain Management, Service Operations, and Health Care Provider Strategy. Pranab Majumder joined Fuqua in 2001 after completing his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester. He holds a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology (Kanpur, India) and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (Calcutta, India), followed by several years in Logistics and Information Technology.
