Melanie Wallskog is an Assistant Professor in the Finance area at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Her research spans the areas of labor economics, entrepreneurship, and corporate finance. Her current research studies how new firms are started, financed, and grow and how these processes affect the productivity, earnings, and job stability of entrepreneurs and their employees. Melanie received her BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and her MA and PhD in Economics from Stanford University.
