Regular biography
Katherine Schipper is the Thomas F. Keller Professor of Business Administration and Director of Graduate Studies at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Her research focuses on financial reporting and corporate governance. She has published work on these topics and is a frequent speaker on international accounting convergence and financial reporting standards. Prior to joining Duke, she was a Board member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and has held faculty positions at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Chicago. She is also affiliated with the Fuqua School of Business’ Accounting department.
