Fernando Bernstein

Fernando G. Bernstein is the Associate Dean for Global Initiatives and William and Sue Gross Distinguished Professor of Business Administration at The Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. His research interests include Distribution and Supply Chain Management, Operations Management. Professor Bernstein teaches the core course Operations Management for the Weekend and Global Executive MBA programs at Duke University and various Executive Education courses on operations management and health care operations. He has published papers in leading journals such as Operations Research, Management Science, and Manufacturing, and Service Operations Management. He also serves as associate editor for these three journals. Professor Bernstein joined Duke University in July 2000 after obtaining a PhD in operations management from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University.
