Dan Laughhunn

Dan Laughhunn is a Professor Emeritus at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, Department of Business Administration. His research interests include Risk Management, Capital Budgeting, Managerial Economics, Finance, and the Risk Attitudes of Professional Managers. His work focuses on resource allocation, performance measurement, and compensation strategies aimed at aligning organizations and employees with shareholder value creation. He has published extensively on topics such as managerial risk attitudes and regulation. Prof. Laughhunn has held several leadership roles at the Fuqua School of Business, including Dean and Associate Dean, and has received multiple teaching excellence awards. He has also designed and taught customized executive education programs for 38 companies.
