Gloria Brar

Gloria Brar is a Professor of Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, in the Department of BIO. Her research focuses on unraveling the unconventional molecular circuitry underlying meiosis, particularly how gene expression regulation drives the dramatic changes enabling meiotic differentiation. Her lab investigates the role of gene regulatory features in cellular change, with an emphasis on non-canonical gene expression patterns.
