Alon P. Brav is the Bratton Family Distinguished Professor of Finance at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. He joined the Fuqua Faculty in 1997 after obtaining his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. His research interests include Investments, Empirical Asset Pricing, and Empirical Corporate Finance. Professor Brav's work has been featured in journals such as the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, and Review of Financial Studies. He is a faculty research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), Corporate Finance Program, and an associate editor at the Journal of Finance. He also serves as a Fellow of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI).
