YOSHIKOSHI Takanori

Very high energy gamma-ray astrophysics

About
Regular biography

YoshiKoshi Takanori is a faculty member in the Department of PHY at The University of Tokyo. His research focuses on very high energy gamma-ray astrophysics, specifically the study of celestial objects emitting Very High Energy (VHE) gamma rays using Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov Telescope (IACT) arrays. He is involved in research aimed at resolving the origin of cosmic rays through observations of supernova remnants and pulsar wind nebulae. Additionally, he is engaged in R&D for next-generation atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes, including the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) project.
