Regular biography
Junichi Tanaka is a researcher at CERN, where he works on the ATLAS experiment. His research focuses on the development of FPGA firmware for the ATLAS detector, particularly in the context of high-level synthesis (HLS) techniques. He has contributed to the study of data acquisition systems and the optimization of data processing pipelines for high-energy physics experiments. His work is critical in enabling the efficient handling of the vast amounts of data generated by particle collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Tanaka has also been involved in academic activities, including teaching and mentoring students in the field of particle physics and computational methods.
