TAKEDA Atsushi
Regular biography
TAKEDA Atsushi is a Faculty member in the PHY department at The University of Tokyo. His research focuses on Elementary Particle Experimental Physics, including the study of the difference between matter and antimatter in the universe using artificial neutrinos, the evolution of matter in the universe through neutrinos from supernova explosions, and direct searches for dark matter using underground detectors. He also investigates rare events beyond the Standard Model of elementary particle physics. His work includes the development of the Hyper-Kamiokande detector, a next-generation water Cherenkov detector, and participation in dark matter detection experiments.
