TAKADA Masahiro

Masahiro Takada is a Faculty member at The University of Tokyo, Department of PHY. His research focuses on cosmology, particularly observational cosmology, with an emphasis on understanding the formation of hierarchical structures in the Universe. His work explores how cosmic structures evolve through gravitational instability driven by dark matter and the influence of dark energy on cosmic expansion. He has developed methods using cosmological gravitational lensing to study dark energy and has contributed to reconstructing dark matter distribution in galaxy clusters using Subaru Telescope data. His research also investigates the impact of finite-mass neutrinos on structure formation.
