SAWADA Ryu is a Faculty member in the PHY department at The University of Tokyo. His research focuses on Elementary Particle Physics, with participation in the LHC ATLAS experiment at CERN. He investigates new physics beyond the standard model by searching for new particles such as supersymmetric particles, dark matter, and new long-lived particles. He also explores the application of new techniques like deep-learning and quantum computing in high-energy physics research. Additionally, he studies the new physics reach of the future circular collider, a proposed 100 TeV hadron collider at CERN.
