Regular biography
SAITO Takayuki is a faculty member in the Department of PHY at The University of Tokyo. His research focuses on gamma-ray astrophysics, particularly the study of TeV gamma-ray emitting celestial objects and the testing of fundamental physics and cosmology using TeV photons. He is also involved in the development of photo-detectors to enhance the sensitivity of the CTAO observatory and apply them to MeV gamma-ray detectors. His work includes investigating particle acceleration by neutron stars with extremely strong magnetic fields and the search for WIMP dark matter.
