MURAYAMA Hitoshi
Regular biography
Hitoshi Murayama is a faculty member at The University of Tokyo, Department of PHY. His research focuses on theoretical particle physics and early cosmology. He is also affiliated with the Kavli IPMU as a Project Professor and has held leadership roles including Director and Principal investigator. His work spans topics such as supersymmetry phenomenology, particle cosmology, quantum field theory, collider physics, neutrino physics, and dark matter. He has contributed to the KamLAND neutrino experiment and leads a collaboration in astronomy called SuMIRe. His research interests include theoretical physics, astroparticle physics, and observational cosmology.
