Regular biography
Prof. MIYOKI Shinji is a Faculty member at The University of Tokyo, Department of PHY. His research focuses on Gravitational Wave Physics. He is involved in the development of KAGRA, a large-scale cryogenic laser interferometer telescope, as part of efforts to directly detect gravitational waves predicted by general relativity. In addition to gravitational wave research, he is exploring macroscopic quantum mechanics through ultra-precise length measurement techniques.
