MIBE Tsutomu

MIBE Tsutomu is a Faculty member in the PHY department at The University of Tokyo. His research focuses on Experimental Particle Physics, with an emphasis on precision measurement of physical quantities related to spin, particularly through the study of quantum loops. His current work involves the measurement of the anomalous magnetic moment and electric dipole moment of the muon at J-PARC. This includes pioneering efforts in the realization of muon cooling, acceleration, and particle tracking detector with super-high alignment precision. His research aims to develop a firm experimental basis for physics beyond the standard model.
