About
Regular biography

KUBO Hidetoshi is a faculty member in the Department of PHY at The University of Tokyo. His research focuses on gamma-ray astrophysics, including the study of cosmic gamma rays from active galactic nuclei, neutron stars, and gamma-ray bursts. He investigates the structures, physical conditions, and energy generation mechanisms of these sources. Additionally, he engages in dark matter searches and quantum gravity theory verification through gamma-ray observations. His work involves data analysis from the MAGIC telescope and the Fermi satellite, as well as the development of the next-generation CTA observatory in the Canary Islands and Chile.
