MSc in Family Business Management (Subject to the University’s Approval)

Required Courses (Total 7 courses/ each of 3 units): 1. Family Business Management Essentials 2. Impact and Philanthropy in Family Business 3. Innovation, Intrapreneurship and Entrepreneurship in Family Business 4. Sustainability and Responsibility in Family Business 5. Global Strategy of Family Business 6. Leadership Development in Family Business 7. Family Business Management Capstone Elective courses (Total 3 or 6 courses/ each of 1.5 or 3 units): Students will take 9-unit elective courses from the following pool: Family Dynamics 1. Family Office 2. Crisis and Resilience in Family Business 3. Contemporary Topics in Managing Family Business 4. Selected Topics in Family Business Management 5. Communications and Negotiations in Family Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation 1. New Venture Management in Family Business 2. Emerging Technology and Business Innovation Financial Analysis 1. Financial and Managerial Accounting 2. Corporate Financial Analysis & Decision-Making Wealth Management Fundamentals 1. Greater China Economies and Financial Markets 2. Current Topics in Global Asset and Wealth Management Students may take up to 3 units of other courses offered for Master of Accountancy (MAcc), Master of Business Administration (MBA), other MSc programmes and faculty-based course of the Faculty of Business Administration counting towards elective course requirement, subject to approval by the Programme Directors concerned. Students are not allowed to take more than one field study trip.
