Regular biography
Yumin Zhao is a professor at the School of Physics and Astronomy, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include nuclear physics and electrodynamics. He has contributed to the study of many-body systems, nucleon pair approximation, nuclear observables, and the mathematical structure of the nuclear shell model. He has published extensively in Physical Review C and authored two review articles in Physics Reports. Zhao has also written a textbook on electrodynamics, with multiple editions published in China. He has been a distinguished professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University since 2013 and has held various academic positions, including membership in the Chinese Nuclear Physics Society and vice presidency of the Chinese Electrodynamics Association.
