Xun Chen

Regular biography

Xun Chen is a faculty member in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Their research focuses on direct detection of dark matter, neutrino physics, Monte Carlo simulation in particle physics, and methods of data analysis. Chen is associated with the Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics and has been involved in the PandaX experiment since 2013. They previously worked on quantum entanglement in BES-III at Peking University and contributed to the development of the DEPFET vertex detector at the Max Planck Institute for Physics. Their academic background includes a Dr.rer.nat in experimental particle physics from the Max Planck Institute for Physics and Technical University of Munich, as well as a Master of Science in theoretical physics from Peking University.
