Regular biography
Xiaoxia Zhong is a professor at the School of Physics and Astronomy, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She is affiliated with the Institute of Optical Science and Technology and specializes in low temperature plasma and its application in nanofabrications. Prof. Zhong received her bachelor's and master's degrees in physics from Xiamen University and her Ph.D. in physics from Fudan University. She has worked as a visiting scientist at the Institute of Plasma Research, University of Stuttgart, Germany, and Joint Research Center (Ispra), Italy. Her research interests include atmospheric pressure microplasma, microplasma-liquid interaction, and applications in nanofabrication. She has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles and holds 7 authorized patents.
