Regular biography
Xianfeng Chen is a distinguished professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on nonlinear optics, nanophotonics, quantum optics, and laser physics. He has published over 200 journal papers in leading international refereed journals, including Nature Photonics and Physics Review Letters, with a total citation count exceeding 2800 and an H-index of 26. He has served as an associate editor-in-chief of Chinese Optics Letter and an associate editor of Photonics Research. Professor Chen has received several national awards, including the China National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists in 2011 and the National High-level personnel of special support program in 2016. He has also contributed to quantum teleportation and other significant research in optical physics.
