Regular biography
Weihao Wu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He joined the university in 2019 after obtaining his PhD in 2015 from the Modern Physics Department at the University of Science and Technology of China. Wu held a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Brookhaven National Laboratory in the US and was promoted to Physics Associate II in 2018. His research focuses on electronics system development for particle physics experiments, including application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) design, high-performance trigger and data acquisition (DAQ) system development. Wu has contributed to several projects, including the FELIX and gFEX projects for the ATLAS upgrade, and the DAQ system for the HV-CMOS sensor testbeam experiment. He has also worked on the ITk Pixel and Strip Demonstrator readout system for the ATLAS Phase II upgrade.
