Regular biography
Tingxin Li is a Faculty member in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on novel quantum phenomena in low-dimensional quantum materials, including 2D van der Waals materials and their moiré superlattices. He has co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed scientific papers, with 15 as first or corresponding author, including publications in Nature, Nature Physics, and Physical Review X. Li joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University as a Tenure-Track Associate Professor in 2021 and was promoted to Associate Professor with Tenure in 2025. Prior to this, he served as a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University and Rice University.
