Regular biography
Shiyong Liu is an associate professor in the Department of Physics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on condensed matter physics, particularly in the areas of charge and spin transport in low-dimensional systems. He has contributed to various studies on thermoelectric effects, spin Hall effects, and magnetotransport phenomena in two-dimensional electron systems. Liu has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, including works on nonlinear transport, spin-orbit coupling, and terahertz-field-driven magnetotransport. His academic career includes postdoctoral work at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a doctoral degree in condensed matter physics from the Shanghai Institute of Metallurgy, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
