Regular biography
Peng Yuan is a faculty member in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on ultra-short, ultra-high-intensity laser technology, addressing challenges such as high signal-to-noise ratio, high repetition rate, and mid-infrared wavelength capabilities. He has led multiple national projects, including two major national special projects, three 863 Plan projects, and two National Natural Science Foundation grants. He has published 87 SCI papers and holds 21 authorized patents, including nine U.S. patents. His work has been recognized with awards such as the Ministry of Education Technology Invention Award (ranked third).
