Regular biography
Lin Xu is a Faculty member in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on solar cell testing theory and technology, photovoltaic systems, and semiconductor materials. He has contributed to the development of solar cell testing methodologies, including the application of expert systems for converting non-standard test results to standard conditions and the use of number theory for extracting physical parameters from I-V data. He has led several national and municipal research projects, including those under the 863 Plan and the Global Environment Fund (GEF)/China Renewable Energy Development Program. Lin Xu has authored over thirty papers and holds eight national patents, with his work contributing to the industrialization of solar cell testing technologies.
