Regular biography
Liang Li is a professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He joined the university as a Distinguished Research Fellow in 2012 and became a tenured professor in 2020. His research focuses on Collider Physics, Muon Physics, Higgs Physics, Electroweak Physics, Top Quark Physics, and Beyond Standard Model Search. He is currently leading the SJTU g-2 research group on the Muon g-2 experiment at Fermilab and serves as a deputy leader of the SJTU ATLAS group working on Higgs physics and top quark physics at the LHC. Prof. Li has contributed significantly to the Muon g-2 experiment, including the first results in 2021 and updated results in 2023. He has also played a leading role in the D0 Collaboration, which discovered the existence of the single top quark in 2009.
