Kai Yan

Kai Yan is an associate professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He joined the university in 2021 after completing postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Germany. His research focuses on perturbative quantum field theory, scattering amplitudes, and high-precision collider physics. Yan has contributed to studies on energy correlators, infrared divergences in gauge theories, and methods for computing Feynman integrals. He has published in leading journals such as Physical Review Letters and Journal of High Energy Physics. His work includes collaborations on topics like the cusp anomalous dimension and energy-energy correlations in supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory.
