Regular biography
Dr Kunlun Yan is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of PHY at The Australian National University. His research focuses on laser physics, optics, and photonics, with a particular emphasis on waveguides and nonlinear optical materials. Dr Yan has contributed to numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals, including studies on chalcogenide waveguides, erbium-doped materials, and photonic integrated circuits. His work has been presented at international conferences such as CLEO Europe, IEEE Photonics Conference, and International Topical Meeting on Microwave Photonics.
