Regular biography
Jie Chen is a faculty member in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include ultrafast X-ray diffraction and spectroscopy, ultrafast optical spectroscopy, and ultrafast electron diffraction. He has led two national projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Youth Science Fund and the NSFC Excellent Youth Science Fund. His work has been published in several prestigious journals, including Applied Physics Letters, Journal of Physical Chemistry B, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of the United States. He is affiliated with the Institute of Laser Plasma Physics and has contributed to studies on ultrafast phenomena and transient structures.
