Haijun Yang is a professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include Collider Physics, Higgs, electroweak, and beyond Standard Model Physics, as well as Dark matter and dark photon studies. He is a key member of the ATLAS collaboration at CERN, where he contributed to the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012. He has also been involved in several other experiments, including the L3 experiment at CERN and the MiniBooNE experiment at Fermilab.
